The selection is built by tasting and through meeting the growers. We keep what drinks well.
The way the vines are farmed matters as much as the bottle. Organic, biodynamic, little intervention in the cellar. The list changes all year, with the deliveries.
Île Saint-Louis
The island was formed at the end of the seventeenth century by joining Île Notre-Dame and Île aux Vaches. It has kept its quays, its townhouses and a pace of its own in the 4th arrondissement.
Figuier sits at 10 rue Jean du Bellay. It is a short walk from Notre-Dame, the Marais or the Quai de la Tournelle.
Camilia Cherf
Camilia Cherf works with winegrowers through the Effervessens agency and presents their wines to professionals.
Figuier grew out of that work. It stands on one simple idea: precise, clean wines made by small growers who share the same demand for purity, farming organically or biodynamically.
She gives the same attention to everything sold alongside the bottles.
