Bastian Beny, the family farm in Wintersheim
Bastian Beny made his first wines under his own name in 2019 in Wintersheim, in Germany’s Rheinhessen hills.
Taking over and moving forward
The vineyard comes from the family. Bastian builds on that inheritance while developing his own farming and winemaking, informed by work with other growers.
Organic and biodynamic farming
The farm follows organic and biodynamic principles. Animals form part of its agricultural environment. Passing the land on to future generations guides this work.
Time in the cellar
The selection’s information describes spontaneous fermentation and ageing on lees. Pressing methods and ageing duration depend on each wine.
Sylvaner and white blends
Sylvaner offers a grape-variety reference. Grande Cuvée combines chardonnay and pinot blanc in the current selection. Tutto Beny shows another side of the estate. These names do not imply one method for every wine.
